Meet Michael Georgi · Photographer

My approach to photography is all about connection. Over five years behind the camera, the biggest thing I've learned is that a photo's real power is the emotion that is captured in it. I keep an eye out for the moments that no one scripts: a quiet glance, a burst of laughter, or the sideline high fives after making a goal.

Shooting with me is relaxed and fun. I'll direct you when you need it and be in the background when the moment's happening. You end up with images that look great and actually naturally feel like you.

When I'm not on the sidelines or at a session, I have taken up a few other hobbies. You'll oftentimes find me chasing air shows, wildlife, and the general beauty of the world around us, camera in hand.

I'm based in Auburn, New York and travel throughout the region.

FAQ

How much does a shoot cost?

It depends on what you need: the type of shoot, how long, and how many people or games. Send me a message with the details and we'll talk through options that fit you and your budget.

Where do you shoot?

I'm based in Auburn, NY and shoot all over Central New York. Further trips are welcome too, just ask! I love trips!

How far in advance should I book?

Sports and portraits usually 1–3 weeks ahead. Senior season (late summer and fall) fills up fast, so book early. Weddings are typically 6–12 months out.

Do you shoot full seasons or team media days?

Yes. I can cover a single game, a whole season, or a team media day, and parents can order from their own gallery.

How many outfits can I bring to a session?

Bring as many that will fit in the time. Make sure the place of the session allows for multiple outfit changes.

How do I get my photos?

Through a private online gallery where you can download full-resolution files, share with family and order prints.

What if the weather is bad?

Outdoor portrait sessions can be rescheduled. Games go on rain or shine, a little rain never hurt!
